Resource Council of WNY
is a community for all
The Resource Council of WNY is committed to creating pathways to opportunity and prosperity so that we can ensure a vibrant, and thriving future for the communities we serve. The RCWNY is anchored in the heart of the Masten District in zip code 14208, but we also bring together and serve diverse communities from across Buffalo and WNY. We offer individuals and families high-quality, multi-generational programs that not only enhance their well-being and socioeconomic opportunities, but we also strive to ensure that our services are equitable, inclusive, and responsive to all sectors of the population.
The Love For Our
East Side Of Buffalo
Community Grows Every Day
In response to the horrific mass shooting that took place on May 14th, 2022 in Buffalo, NY, the Resource Council of WNY worked with local partners to provide food, household supplies, toiletries and baby items to community residents in need for over nine weeks. In addition, crisis services were provided indoors that included mental health counseling, victim services, housing and utility assistance, social services and more, to help meet the critical needs of individuals and families.
Today, the Resource Council of WNY continues to provide many of those wraparound services and has expanded our distribution of food, hygiene items and basic household essentials to all those in need as our beloved community continues to heal.
