ALL-STARS SUMMER CAMP
Our RCWNY ALL-STARS Summer Camp is our six-week, academic enrichment program where children are engaged and inspired to explore their potential, embrace new ways of learning and make new friends!
Through fun and innovative programming five days a week, students are provided with social-emotional learning and hands-on activities and experiences in science, technology, the arts, culiinary classes, and so much more! Our full-day camp, open to students in grades K – 6, also offers sports clinics in basketball, baseball, soccer, dance, golf, karate and football, as well as mandatory learn-to-swim classes in our indoor pool. Youth participants receive a nutritious breakfast, lunch, and snack on a daily basis, in addition to opportunities for our familiies to take part in our free farmer’s markets and food distribution events.
Our ALL STARS summer camp is primarily supported by SAY YES Buffalo, the Erie County Youth Bureau, Erie County OMH and a host of community partners.
HORIZONS @ RCWNY SUMMER CAMP
In the summer of 2022, Horizons @ RCWNY became a regional affiliate of Horizons National, an award-winning network of high-quality, tuition-free, and immersive academic enrichment programs serving children from under-served communities throughout the country.
This year, Horizons @ RCWNY program will provide up to 60 students, primarily from the East Side of Buffalo, with six weeks of fun, academically-enriched summer camp programming aimed at closing the achievement and opportunity gaps experienced by Buffalo’s under-resourced students.
Thanks to the generous support the Cullen Foundation, students enrolled in our Horizons @ RCWNY summer camp literally “grow” with the program each year from K – 6th grade.
Learning outcomes are tracked each year to show our success with both summer programs so that our youth will be adequately prepared for back to school in the Fall!
